France to host International Asparagus Days in 2024

The 5th edition of the International Asparagus Days (IAD) will take place from 24th to 26th September 2024 in France, near Bordeaux. After events organised in Italy (Cesena 2018, Rimini 2021) and France (Angers 2019), the international asparagus event returns to the venue of its first edition (in 2013), at the Planasa asparagus plantation in Le Barp. Created by Christian Befve, next year’s event will be organised by Befve&Co and Macfrut, welcoming more than 1,500 professionals from across the asparagus and associated sectors to an exhibition space that brings together more than 120 different companies for demonstrations of equipment, conferences and many opportunities for meetings (over 33 nationalities represented from Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America and Africa). A rich programme of technical conferences, visits and exchanges is already being planned to ensure the continued success of the IAD and make it an unmissable event in the world of asparagus in 2024.
